Am I right in thinking that I could shoot a colour chart with the AX and use this to create a PXW PP?

I presume your first suggestion would involve creating a PP from the AX for the PXW?
Sounds a relatively simple solution ( if you now how to create a PP using a scope).

Hello Ian. Thanks for the updates on the process of resolving this issue.
I recently purchased a Sony PXW-X70 and have since encountered the same issues discussed in this forum with FCPX.2 & the Sony XACV files.
While we are awaiting a solution, what is your recommendation for batch transcoding the XACV files? I would prefer to not spend $$ if the solution is soon to arrive……The Sony Content browser is free but apparently does not batch trancode.
