I like the Sony monopod that attaches to a kind of vest which gives me a kind of bodypod.
The VCT-SP1BP makes me feel like I’m carrying the flag in a parade with that cup thing and I haven’t had any use of the electronic gizmo thing because it doesn’t interface with the EX1.

I open that last incomplete clip, give it a in-point and out-point on that viewer timeline, and then import it.

I’m on FCP 6 using XDCAM EX footage and I too have a case of the “wobbles”. Any vertical line gets kind of wavy. I have seen that others have this issue too. Forget panning, this camera only wants stationary shots. I see playback on the camera monitor and all is perfect but as soon as I go to ingest those wavey lines show up. I’ve been having a hard time trying to get to the bottom of this, two years worth of footage not used because of this distortion.
What am I missing here?
