Thanks for the speedy repy, but unfortunately, the Mac version of Clip Browser doesn’t have an import function. Well, it has it, but it seems perpetually greyed out. I don’t get it. Any other work arounds, guys?

I used Boomerang to recover some files I accidentally deleted on a card, and could not get xdcam transfer or clip browser to “see” them. did anyone have any tips.
it’s very frustrating to see the .mp4s in the raw folder, and have them not play on my mac with quicktime, or VLC, or ffmpeg. grrrr.

I had a split .smi file acting pesky. I right clicked (or control clicked) on both halves of the split file and used the “retrieve meta-data” option. I have also had files that I thought were acting split up and irreconcilable, and I imported the clips anyway, and found in the folder for the second card that the whole clip was indeed there and in perfect shape.
