Well, I ran one of the rendered files with the defects through tsMuxeR and output as set the output type to M2Ts. It ran quickly, removed the defects, and still resulted in good 5.1 surround sound. It sure reduced the aggravation this problem was causing me, especially because before finding this site I thought it might be a problem with my graphics card.

I changed the project properties to 32Khz but when I select “render as” and choose the “AVCHD 1920×1080-60i 5.1 Surround” I don’t see how to change the audio. It is defaulting to 48KHz with that template. Can you tell me how to modify it?

    Thanks.

BTW, I used through tsMuxeR and output as M2Ts and it eliminated the lag but I didn’t test to see that it still produces surround sound.

I’m seeing the same problem, video lagging audio when rendering 1080i with 5.1 surround. I’m running HD Platinum 11 build 247. Going to try rendering with the audio setting recommended by Juan Alvarez.
