    If you manually configure virtual memory in Windows XP this problem will go away. Virtual memory resides on your hard drive. Windows XP uses virtual memory like system memory.
    How to configure memory is best described in the book by Keith Underdahl, 50 Fast Windows XP Techniques. It’s not something to be covered here because many different steps are involved, however the process is easy to accomplish.
