Wow, thanks a lot Filip! I will take this project apart for educational purposes if I may!

No, the text layer can have different numbers of lines, but it’s always paragraph text.

And yes, the highlighting is going to work with text-animators at first. But I’m shure I can tweak your expression so it could also use a backdrop or anythig else! After all it does seem to return a position at some point.

Yes, parenting trackingnNulls in sequence does answer this particular question and works just fine.
But still I wonder, is there an expression like “activeLayer” ?
Or would I have to try this in a “if layer X is active, take it, else move on to the next layer” sort of fashion? And how would that be done, can expressions access that sort of data?

I’m sorry Dan, could I ask for your help once more?
I’m not quite sure how such a formula would look like.

Could this formula be built in such a way that you insert the values that you would usually adjust in the Keyframe-Velocity-Menu?
