Do you have a screen grab of your footage? Was the GAIN on High and were you shooting in really low light?

To Get a Really good Super 8MM and 16MM “look” inside of Vegas
1. Use Curves- create a nice film density
2. Use Color Corrector to “mute” colors -1950’s, 1960’s look
3. Add a vignette
4. Add some very subtle strobe FX
5. Add some very subtle scratches- very light. Too much looks fake..
6. Optional mask to create a shallow depth of field- add Gaussian blur95% of clients we’ve submitted this to loved the “film cameras” we used to shoot the footage on…..

1. I am using a DL DVD to burn a project
2. DVDA is asking me for Chapter Markers
3. Do I place the Chapter Markers in DVDA OR do I have to go back to Vegas add my markers and re-render?Thanks,

I think somewhere in this Forum is a list of Television credits that use VEGAS PRO in there workflow? According to Jedi Master “DSE” Vegas is in a lot of Production Facilities…

I shoot and edit with the 100B in Sony Vegas Pro. I’ve had very professional results the last 2 years! You should definitely check out Barry Greens book “The DVX Handbook”. Also check this post out too. For SD, the results are impressive with the SD. I like framing with 16×9 Squeeze. It saves time in editing with the optional 4×3, then resizing to 16×9.

He won at Sundance shooting with the 100A, he used FCP in Post. I can safely say, you can match similar if not better results with Sony Vegas Pro.

Sony Vegas Professional is an incredible product. How come we don’t find a clearing house or list of Vegas Productions anywhere on the web? Avid, Apple and the others seem to be very open on bragging on their respective stuff.
Sony needs to step it up here. Maybe at NAB we can hear some stuff. Surviver man last year was cool in Vegas, and the guy that did the Audio for Speed Racer using Sound Forge and Acid.
