Hi Mark,

Thanks for your idea, I had wondered about using a PVR sort of solution, but wasn’t quite sure if it would work – I might have to get my hands on a used Tivo and test this idea out though.
I wonder if there are any software based PVRs that could do this with a DV stream to avoid the A/D conversion..
