True that if you are looking for something like livetype… For myself I use a 3D application and photoshop.

I still can’t understand why the big A’s can’t build in a 3D character generator… Apple was on the right track with there 2D livetype. We will see how long it’s still going to take for them to copy Smoke!

Good question I say lets wait for the next Mac Pro and a small update for FCPX 😉 (I hop e no insides here)
So far we have Lion a OS that has XSAN build in it with a cheap Server module that can be downloaded from the App Store and then we have some thing cool that is called Thunderbolt.

In case Apple does not use these option with Final Cut Pro X then I hope EditShare is smarter.

See Walter your move is a professional move cause you know how to do the job no matter with what tool. Yup even the Swiss army knife! 😉

[Armando Ciurana] “This is pretty much my reality, I have to make a expansion plan for the next year, today and I have been considering switching both of our on-line systems (now FCS 3) to Avid/Autodesk/Black Magic.”

Are you also considering FCPX? I am just wondering since you posted your question in the Final Cut Pro X forum.
Yeah it could be confusing and frustrating like choosing a cell phone plan. 🙂
I would agree with Tomislav, or try them all and pick your best choice that you feel comfortable with.

Not really. Ask a master carpenter to build a deck with a Swiss Army Knife and balsa wood, and I don’t think the results would be too good.”

Hmmm that’s why I wrote he will make something out of it that worth awhile besides have you seen a European master carpenter work? 😉

Why does everybody argue about what format and what tool is professional?
Isn’t a professional a person that can take anything and through at him and he will make something out of it that worth awhile? Because of his experience in the field.
iPad camera with celluare uplink? Cool
