Background Task Running
I’m just building a training project to start the transition to FCPX
trying to delete an event and getting this messageBackground Task Running
This action cannot be performed while background tasks are running. Try again when background tasks have finished processing or after canceling them.any thoughts ?

Andree – very rude of me – thanks for hitting me up for the answer –
With the new architecture of FCPX – there is so much more background processing going on – from just importing clips to rendering – the 64bit platform gives you the ability to view things “real time” before the processing is actually complete – so it doesn’t like you to attempt to delete stuff that it is still working on – once the Background stuff had completed – I was able to delete the file that I wanted to.cheers
