Thanks for your help,
[Tero Ahlfors] “So if you want to monitor 1920×1080 at 50fps but the device only supports 1280×720 at 50fps there will be no output.”
Well Blackmagic Monitor 4K support a lot of frame rate :
HD Video Standards
720p50, 720p59.94, 720p60
1080p23.98, 1080p24, 1080p25, 1080p29.97, 1080p30, 1080p50, 1080p59.94, 1080p60
1080PsF23.98, 1080PsF24, 1080PsF25, 1080PsF29.97, 1080PsF30
1080i50, 1080i59.94, 1080i60
So I don’t understand why my monitor does not support the output at 1080p25.
Is it my monitor who does not support 25Hz ? I don’t have enough knowledge about that.
And why on the same monitor, the BM card plays from resolve a timeline at 1080p25.
[Tero Ahlfors] “I also doubt that your monitor can show interlaced footage correctly. I’d suggest getting a proper reference monitor. Like the Flanders Scientific AM-210.”
Thanks about that I don’t know a lot of reference monitor yet.
A shame there is no “cheap” way to display interlaced footage.
