Silly question, but are there conventional fixtures being used for stage wash? Are the cameras being white balanced on fixtures which have a different color temperature that the LED fixtures?

Marcus, I agree with you, but I hope they find a way to really differentiate it from the other items in the lineup. iMacs are faster than current MacPros and Mac minis are very nice for the price. Just having some internal slots for expansion doesn’t justify the added cost. Hopefully, they won’t continue to lock down the other products (as far as user upgrades) to make the MacPro “different”.

I’m not exactly sure what you are trying to accomplish, but from what I understand, please try the following:
InDesign. Choose your object and then “Edit>Step and Repeat…” Enter the number of repeats along with offsets.
Illustrator. Choose your object and duplicate it. Place these two items at the start and end of your repeat area. Select both and choose “Object>Blend>Blend Options…” Either enter specified number of steps or specified distance. Then choose “Object>Blend>Make”

I think that Focusrite at one time had a unit which also claimed to do this. It was intriguing, but I never got a chance to check it out. Now it seems they have moved on to the “Liquid Channel” which mimics classic pre-amps and compressors.
I was always a bit skeptical, but I don’t think that it is impossible. Look at how far reverbs have come. Impulse responses from highly desirable rooms have been pretty well modeled in the box. If Antares hasn’t got it all figured out just yet, I think someone will within the next few years.
