  • Does anyone have experience with embedding a timecode into .MTS files? I am working on a documentary where I have been given a bunch of .MTS files that need to be sent to a translator for transcriptions. The problem is there is no metadata on these clips (I think because they were not properly copied off the SD card, and were taken out of the “Private” folder and renamed). So now I have a bunch of .MTS clips that do not have source timecode. When I select “source timecode” in Premiere or AME, the clips timecode shows up as starting at 00. This will not help me when editing if I have hundreds of clips that all have the same source timecode. Any thoughts?
