I mean no matter where i put the playhead the footage just continues playing from where I left off originally. So lets say my playhead is at 00:10:00 and i move it a few minutes forward and hit play, it continues playing from 00:10:00 and not the new playhead location.

haha i remember the first time i tried to drag an audio file to the timeline and did the same thing.

wonder if this was edited on FCP7

Thanks for the help! I was hoping I wouldn’t have to keyframe it but looks like it’s the only option for now. Wish they would bring back the simple fades
