    Thank you so much.

    Easy setup is correct, and I am trying to get HDV footage into FCP using 15U. When the station is connected to camera via firewire, it works, but not with 15U. There is no remote/local switch.

    I began to think the firewire port on the back of the deck might be the problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you so much.

    The deck turns on. It plays back both HDV and SD footage on the studio monitor, but FCP doesn’t recognize the deck. FCP, however, recognizes when a cemra is connected via firewire. I replaced firewire cable, but the same result.

    In FCP, Easy setup is correct, and I am trying to get HDV footage into FCP using 15U.

    I began to think the firewire port on the back of the deck might be the problem.

    Any suggestions?
