Mark, could you give some details of your system configuration (machine type, RAM, etc). Also, did you update to 10.4.3 and 5.0.3 simultaneously? You mention dissolve renders – is it specifically rendering these dissolves that seems to be the problem, or is it just rendering in general?

Mark, what are the specifics of the projects that are crashing? What are you working in, what type of render are you doing, etc? I’ve updated to 5.0.3 and I haven’t crashed after a render yet. Have ypou tried trashing your prefs yet?
