Here it is girl! Maybe you’re talking to the wrong group. Why don’t you address these issue with the WOMEN in your town. Maybe they can tell you why they would rather be cleaning houses or working the grocery store cash register.
We don’t have the answer to why other people are doing what they do.

Sounds to me like someone is upset that other women aren’t as diligent as she is. Maybe the problem is with the other women. Or is that concept too manly in nature?
The person that drives the sanitation truck for our neighborhood is a woman and she doesn’t even look like Larry, the Cable Guy. Our mailman is also a nice young lady. What the hell’s next, my doctor? Oh yeah, my doctor’s a female too. Imagine that.

As a matter of fact, I married one. Three actually but the first two were only practice runs. After 13 years with my latest babe, I couldn’t be happier. My view is that we get we get, however we decide to get it. I believe in total equality. I do not believe in the affirmative action theory. I do not think a man should get the job because he is a man. Nor do I believe that the woman should get the job because she is a woman. Go to school, work hard, be better at what you do than everyone around you and rise to the top.

Tell them that you take pride in showing your client list to new, prospective clients and if you wanted a corporate version of Charles Manson or Richard Speck, you would be happy to include them in your circle.
At least Manson and Speck didn’t charge their victims and then put them through years of suffering. A little blade work and it was all over.

MAKEUP ARTISTS
99% of the makeup artists are female. Here in Arizona, they make $400 to $500 a day. The poor guys who are dragging cable, or moving tons of sandbags and c-stands are usually making a lot less. How unfair that the guys are doing hard labor and the girls are having a blast fixing somebody’s hair or dabbing a little powder on some CEO’s forehead.
Hey. maybe it’s their skills that determine their value. We bitch about it but we gladly pay it.

We had a major client that played a DVD of ours at a huge conference. I got a call from the client screaming that the voice was out of sync with the video. The hotel AV manager had explained how we probably transcoded the disc improperly and that the client needed to ask for their money back ($35k by the way). Hmmmm! I guess we screwed up. Or did we?
I asked the client, once she calmed down, if she had played the DVD in her office before leaving on the trip and was it OK at that time. Answer: Yes, it was fine.
I then asked if they were showing the DVD on multiple large screens. Answer: Yes they are.
The problem: The hotel AV crew had never even heard of an “audio delay” device and certainly didn’t have one on site. When you send a VGA signal through a distribution amp to go to multiple devices, that audio can be delayed by up to a half second.
Not that this has anything to do with the situation at hand, I just wanted to tell this story.
