Didn’t work.
They’re AI layers, so I’m advising various voodoo techniques of opening AI, or replacing with the same layer inside AE, or reloading in AE. A screengrab is coming.

Yeah. I’ve only found spacebar previews useful for watching a selected camera layer move wireframe-like. Not much call for that, though it’s good for showing camera-motion concepts to students.

You’ve altered the footage to enhance the green dot?

Dave’s right. As long as you interpret a square-pixel photo as that, AE will import it at proper proportions. When you drag it into a DV non-square pixel comp, AE takes care of the business and has your back. If you want to scale the pic, scale it uniformly. You may have some cropping.

Look up pixel aspect ratio correction as well.
