I agree with the positive comments about the EX1r. Now that shallow DOF is in vogue, getting it to work on the EX1r is challenging, but possible. I keep thinking about upgrading, but the camera is so easy to use, I’m just not ready to sell them. I have a Dell Latitude with an Express Card slot and two power SATA external drives so I can double backup when a card gets full. The adapters for SD cards scare me so I rely on the SxS-1 solution.

Jeez, so much emotion against Adobe – all they’ve done is make constant improvements, frequent free updates, affordable upgrades, tight integration between awesome applications, real time video playback and faster output, and have listened to their users. And still people hold Apple up as the example. That’s one company I wouldn’t count on to have my back in my business…but they do have shiny, pretty new toys for fanboys. Ooh look, shiny – let me grab my wallet!
