    Thanks. I’ll give it a shot.

    I’m not finding much in the way of Sony FX1 or V1 for 2k. Can you recommend a refurb shop or where I can find a decent camera?

    I’m not doing this for a living so I “think” I would only need a consumer model.

    Good info. If I use the firewire2 for high def will Sony Vegas capture video and audio live and be sync’d together?

    Example:
    mic1->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic2->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic3->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic4->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic5->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic6->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic7->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    mic8->PresonusFS->firewire1->ASIOdriver->SonyVegas
    Camcorder->firewire2->SonyVegas
