  • TRY THIS! What I’ve found is that the problem lies in a Workspace in Premiere Pro that has been corrupted in a recent update to the application. Load up one of the original default workspaces — one that you haven’t changed and re-saved — and see if the problem goes away.

My guess is that it will. You can then re-configure the windows to your favorite layout, and re-save it as that name.

NOTE: This fix works for any project-related access issue — can’t move clips on the timeline, can’t right click in sequences, etc. Anything mouse related issue.

    Have a great one,

    Hello all,

    I oversee nine late 2013 MacPro 3.5 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon E5.
Everyone on my team experiences this issue at one point or
another when working in Premiere Pro 2015.

I was hoping the scrolling issue would have gone away with the
new release, but no! The only decent work-around
is to restrict usage of the app to one monitor. Which is backward
    and unproductive.

I have seen some reports of third party plugins possibly being
the culprit, and will be watching for that in the days to come.
That would jibe with the reports of most that indicate the issue
popping up 5-10 minutes after getting started.

I’ve alerted my team to this possibility, and will advise further if
we’re able to isolate the trigger.

Please let me know if anyone comes up with a real fix in the
    near future.

    Best,

    Steve

August 28, 2013 at 2:10 pm in reply to: Mac Pro spec issues – guidance desired

    Hi Roel,

I’m thinking about bringing an Early 2008 Mac Pro in our creative
group up to the Adobe Cloud, which would require me to upgrade
    it to Mountain Lion.

Are there any issues there I should be aware of? I wasn’t sure that
this was possible, until reading this thread this morning…

Any advice or help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Steve
