thank you for that link, i will have a look.

otherwise, i’m still having the same issue. all clips, from either camera, drop in the timeline just fine with no render needed.

i’m wondering if i’m making an error when i make the reference movie file, export it, then import those back in to make the multiclip.

the sequence settings match my footage, so i’m pretty stuck here!

thanks so much for your reply.

i’m still having trouble. opening a new sequence doesn’t do it. i tried that, and dropping in a clip it doesn’t ask me to match settings. normal clips play just fine.

i also tried transcoding a couple of clips into 1920×1080 HDTV 1080i in mpeg streamclip (my original conversion was 1920×1080 unscaled) to match the sequence settings of 1920X1080 HDTV 1080i (16:9)

still doesn’t work.

anything else i’m missing?
