The exact same clip on the exact same machine plays flawlessly using about 20% of the CPU with VLC. Why would it suck up all the CPU at any setting when VLC plays the same clip flawlessly with such little utilization?

I get this as well, FCPX play the files fine but PPro can’t cope well. Wish they would fix it

Would that involve a contract with a carrier to get your timecode $20 a month for 1000 timecode minutes or $50 for unlimited 🙂

Out of all the NLEs the interface on FCPX is perfectly suited to use on a laptop, still waiting for the iPad version though 🙂
