Looks like you’ll have to do it manually then, although it might not be as bad as you think. Well, it’s going to be bad, just from the sheer number of videos you have to do it to.
Here’s what I would do…
Import your ‘sponsor’ clips and ‘watermark’ graphic, along with your clips.
Create a completed Sequence with one of your clips and it’s ‘sponsor’ and ‘watermark’.
Duplicate that sequence.
Delete the clip from the sequence, leaving the ‘sponsor’ clips and watermark. This makes a template sequence.
Duplicate the template sequence, a lot. Not sure how many Sequences PPro can hold, but you may be able to find out!
Insert a new video clip in between each template copy’s sponsor clips, and drag the watermark to size.
This way you’re only performing a couple of mouse click-drags per sequence. Not automatic, but still not that bad, considering.
Then batch transcode the sequences in Adobe Media Encoder.
Oh…save often.
