Hi,
the new JVC requires 2 versions, 1 for US and 1 for europe.

it also does not support the Film formats:

1080 24p or 23.98PsF, 1080p 30Hz, 1080p 25Hz, 1080p 29.97Hz,

and if it did they would be on seperate US/europe units.

seeing as Blu-ray comercial discs use film formats the JVC is aimed at broadcasters only.
