Huh – I’ve never even heard of this. Makes me wonder what other preamp models I’ve missed.
Thanks for the details!

You can arch the Dual Eyes demo on the product page:

And BTW, I’ve requested more info from JuicedLink about the Riggies and their response was “subscribe to the blog feed and wait for more info. Not very helpful.

Thanks for the link. You say there are many WP plugins out there – can you perhaps link to a few more that you considered so that I have a few to choose from? I’ve done a Google search, but I’m seeing in the comments for those that come up first that people have had problems implementing them.

May 13, 2012 at 5:48 pm in reply to: New question – FCP 7 worth learning at this point? Or should I just jump to Premiere? Thanks for your input – looks like I’m going to take a look at Premiere. It’s incredibly frustrating that Apple killed the pro side of FCP. Is their home user base really that much more valuable than their professional user base?
What are the relative merits, feature-wise, of Avid over Adobe?

Not sure if you’ve already got the monopod, but I adore this monopod/fluid head combo:
The head is very smooth while still being compact. Not sure if Manfrotto sells the head on its own, though.

The Fancier knobs are indeed plastic. Is that a huge problem?

April 25, 2012 at 6:49 pm in reply to: Suggestions for DSLR Rig on Rails for ENG Work with Pre-Amp and Zoom?Steve, here’s a demo of one person’s tripod rig where he mounts the preamp under the camera:
Not sure why your camera would wobble when mourned to the preamp – in my experience they’ve designed for just that and the camera sits snuggly on top. Maybe a call to the manufacturer is in order to find out why your camera isn’t seating correctly?
