I work for a university and we are putting up digital signage all across campus. We don’t need to stream via ustream or livestream. We are streaming over LAN via VLC player. We are using a TriplePlay signage system. We need the footage in at least 720. I was wondering if anyone has gotten any LAN based streaming software to recognize the HPX in 720.

I mean stream via the web. We are working on a digital signage project and we want to include a live video feed.
I would prefer to connect via FireWire or SDI.
