Perhaps I should have been more clear why i said raindrops and not rain, cc rain makes a great rain and its easy. The rain drops I want to create are similar to Pierre Michel’s promo video(link at the end), I talked to him last night and he said he shot the rain itself and then use particles to use it as custom layer but the angles thats what im really interested in..sorry for being a little bit discreet and maybe I ask too many questions haha..Thanks for your replies nonetheless, Im going to try each and every one of them.

Thanks man that helped me heaps… reason im asking is i was looking through ayatos tutorial 18 and got stuck at that point..have u tried it?if you have let me know, coz i wanna know how he gets the highlighted color for his glow in step 3..here is the link just in case.
