Here is my workflow for this: Capture your tape, open it in the wiever, use “DV start/stop detect” (this will give you all the markers under your clip), Mark them all and use “make subclips”, throw the subclips in your timeline and delete and adjust the clips you wanna keep as individual files. Mark them all and use mediamanager to delete everything else. This will give you all the clips as individual files and delete everything else. (dont forget handles)
