You’ve posted this in the worng place, but since you’re here the answer is to select Quicktime as the Format and then select MPEG IMX 625/50 (30Mb/s) as the codec.

The Crystallise filter will give you rough edges. (Turn the Speed down to zero.)
Probably the closest thing you are going to get in Motion with a simple filter.
There are of course other methods that are more complex.

Right-click in the timeline ruler area and select Show Audio Time Units.
This will allow you to perform subframe edits with the Razor Tool and with Trim.

Have you created a new Database and a new User as I suggested?
This usually sorts the problem out.

You might want to try this.
From the main Resolve log-in window, create a new Database. Select the new Database and create a new User.
Go to /Library/Application Support/Blackmagic Design/DaVinci Resolve/Resolve Disk Database/Users.
Copy the Projects folder from the old User to the new User you have just created.
Relaunch Resolve and log in as the new User.
You should see your project(s) restored.
You might however need to relink your media.

One very nice variant on the Solid Color approach is to set the Blend Mode to Color rather than Normal, and obviously adjusting the Opacity to taste.
It’s an old photographer’s trick that works surprisingly well for this kind of thing.
(It’s even more interesting when you use a gradient rather than a Solid Color.)
