| Comments and Things Worth Noting |
Creative sound designer, editor and mixing engineer with experience in sound for visual image industries. Starting with location sound recording, working as a boom op/production sound mixer, I have worked on projects in a variety of different contexts including sound recordist, dialogue editor, sound fx editor, sound fx designer, foley editor, ADR Mixer, pre-mix engineer and some times all of the above. Core interest in post production sound and particularly sound design/editing. Competent in studio etiquette and able to anticipate and articulate the needs of clients. Comfortable working in a team and taking up the role of a team leader.

I am familiar with a wide variety of professional audio equipment – sound mixers, portable recording devices, microphones, digital control surfaces, multiple DAWs, various recording procedures and techniques.
Proficient working with mixing technologies such as Dolby 5.1, 7.1 and the newly introduced Dolby Atmos. Comfortable recording, mixing and editing backgrounds, sound effects, foley, music and dialogue tracks in Pro Tools HD version 6 through 11. My workflow includes using a variety of plugins to design/manipulate/tweak sounds which include Waves, McDSP, SoundToys, Audio Damage, DMG Audio, GRM Tools, Audio Ease etc. For spotting sounds I have been using Soundminer for a long time and am very happy with it. I also use Logic and Reason sometimes for designing/manipulating sounds.

In addition to working professionally in the Industry, I also write a blog online, called 'Film Sound Review', which focusses on sound editing/design/mix for visual media. My interests include traveling, photography, hunting for unique/new/fresh sounds and producing/listening to music.
