Dan I had a folder missing after CONTENTS. There should have been a folder named CLIPS001. Doesn’t sound like that is your problem though right?

Only other thing I can think of is whether you have the relevant plugin for Canon C300? I guess you must have to come off the camera…anyway these are just ideas to throw into the mix, may have to hear from the big boys : )

Ah fantastic thank you both, problem is now solved.

Yes there was a link missing in the chain of folders. Although I did have the CONTENTS folder, I did not have the CLIPS001 folder.

I didn’t see the wood for the trees! Even though I spent ages looking at those that worked and those that didn’t to to compare and check that all Journal Folders, Index files, .CIF, .XML were all present and accounted for, I MISSED the fact that a folder was missing in the middle.

    Thanks again.

thanks, your advise has been invaluable. Before I received your last response I did conduct a test. I exported a section of my HD material four ways.

    1. ProRes 1920×1080 without slomo and field dom not set,
    2. ProRes 1920×1080 with 50% slomo and field dom not set,
    3. ProRes 1920×1080 with 50% slomo and field dom set to Upper,
    4. ProRes 1440×1080 with 50% slomo which set itself to Upper.

After DVD Studio Pro output, the only slomo that looked bad was the 1920×1080 one that I had set to Upper field dom.

    Thanks again,

    thankyou so much

    makes sense, but

do I need to apply the shift fields filter to all the DV material or can I just have the field dominance of the new ProRes sequence set to Upper?
