real exporter doesnt work – sound falls in and out of sync. i am running two video tracks – it’s an edited live performance so easiest to cut this way, running cam a and b along side and just punch in and out – should i remove the cam which im not using from the timeline? i usually have cam a on timeline 1 and cam b on timeline 2, since timeline 2 always takes over the shot – i do my punches in/out on cam b footage, keep A always there

(i hope that all made sense!)

then what am i doing wrong? i do my output through Quicktime conversion, click on AVI and then it comes out all strange – file size makes sense but only 3 min of picture (should be 40 min!!). yet when i do an mov output it’s all good. huh?

Hi – I dont have quicktime pro right now – clients end goal is real media, and it seems that avi files convert better to real media than mov files (which i have no problems with).

strange this is nothing happens at 3 min mark – clip just ends, yet when i launch the clip on a pc, all the content is there, and my 3 min clip is the same size as the full length. very strange. right now i’m doing an mov output and putting that in cleaner to convert to avi. see what happens.

what would you do your original output as? mov? uncompressed?

this is all very strange – do you suggest quicktime pro? would that be the best or is cleaner just as good?
