Thanks so much Tim – I’ll let you know what happens! 🙂

  • Vince – Thank you so much for your response.

Depending on the amount of motion, I find 500 / 550 Kb/s VBR 2 Pass flv files do very well. We stick with a resolution of 512×288 (widescreen). Depending on the type of transition you are using, you may see pixelation.

I set the video up initially for 720×480 as that was the client’s request. The entire movie is made up of still images using only default crossfades and a couple of page turn transitions. You mention “500/550 Kb/s VBR 2 Pass FLV files” above. Is that a setting I can export to in Premiere or is that an export setting in Flash? My client has the conversion software and we are getting together to try and figure this thing out.

I appreciate your help. I have only made four short movies, but never one for streaming web, so I’m really at a loss.

    Thanks again!

I just wanted to let you know that I downloaded the updated driver for my Intel Video Card and Premiere is working like a charm.

Thank you so much for your help…I really appreciate it and am so excited that I get to complete this project as promised!

    Namaste! – Sharon

I have viewed individual movie elements in Windows media and they work just fine. It is only when I import them into CS4 that I experience a problem and subsequent crash.

I will look at the video driver issue and see if that resolves the problem. I’ll keep you posted – Thanks.

This is the only video software I have installed on this machine. The other programs I was referring to are the other programs that came with the Adobe Master Collection (PhotoShop, Illustrator, In Design, etc.)

This is also my first Windows OS. I have been a MAC girl since 1987. I’m not converting, just expanding!

How do I find the video driver information on the Vista machine?

    Thanks for your help.
