Thanks for your reply. It is resolved now. It was not the locks.
I just had to turn on “toggle Mask and Shape Path Visibility” option given on the toolbar of workplace area.

I have zoomed out timelines and checked many times.. there is no other layer outside of timeline blocking this image .. even if I select the first iamge of my project .. I cannot even edit that..
