oh – one quick question, being of a simple mind and all that… does the Dell come with all the right connecting cables for a G5 Dual 2Ghz machine? My assumption is that it does but I wasn’t sure if it needs a separate power cable/video adaptor etc.

also will the G5 recognise it no probs or do you have to download software etc…

Dear Oliver and Mariusz,

thanks v. much for your advice – I’m basically split between photoshop and FCP editing – so think the Dell offers better value, but what did you mean by display or video? It’s basically for me at home, not for displaying stuff professionally, merely sharing stuff with friends and editing as per usual.
