yes, I know about GRD201: The Craft of Color Grading. Great stuff! Gonna definitely try GDR202.

But I was actually asking about FXPHD – DAV101 – Introduction to Resolve on Mac. I was just wondering can I start right away with DAV210.
Weird thing is, none of them is listed on FXPHD site anymore, don’t know why…

Since I’m still on Resolve 9, I guess Ripple Training – Davinci Resolve 9 Core Training or cmiVFX – DaVinci Resolve 9 Beta – FastTrack should get me started. I was just wondering which one is better.

Hi Hamid,

I’m switching from Apple Color.
I have DaVinci Resolve Lite 9.1.6, will transfer to Lite 10 after Beta testing is done.
I got DAV101 , but tutorial is from earlier version of Resolve and it’s a bit confusing. Since I have some experience as a colorist, can I start with DAV210 right away or I need to find some beginners tutorial for Resolve 9 first?
Is Ripple Training way to go or maybe cVFX _DaVinci Resolve Introduction?

Yes, that was my first question to them, but unfortunately, there is no footage of background without a dancer. I honestly don’t know why.

Yeah, well the director messed up…

He told me that NTSC cams are main ones so I’ve first converted 25fps footage to 23.98. I made multiclip and than I got audio that was out of sync.
Now I probably need to convert 23.98 to 25 fps and edit like that.

But what’s bugging me is that I don’t understand WHY is audio out of sync when audio is recorded separately and directly from audio mixer?!
I’m in EU and I don’t have much experience with NTSC but this just don’t make sense…

Anyway, what you recommend for converting from 23.98 to 25 fps? Compressor or something else?
