I do have a post into the shake forum already, unfortunately no one has responded yet. I thought I’d give it a go over here and see what other ways there are to accomplish this “2D” floor effect. I’m willing to start over completely to get a professional look. This will be the highlight of my reel, and I put a lot of money into production.

I have a fellow animator building a 3D model in Maya; however, I was interested in achieving the 2D look as well (2 cuts of the same spot.) One is high contrast black/white (lots of roto’ing here to get desired effects) and the second cut with the 3D model is to be in color.
