| Comments and Things Worth Noting |
I’m passionate about helping companies build brand equity. For me, brand building is a journey that begins with an extensive research and ends up with a well-told story.
After I completed my licentiate degree in advertising and marketing planning in Santiago de Chile, I started to work as an advertising account executive at IDB/FCB (a Chilean agency owned by Interpublic Group). After few years of building my career portfolio in international advertising agencies, I started working as an account executive at a locally renowned creative agency by the name of Antillo/Hasenohr. At that time, the agency had acquired the Heineken account and I started getting deeply involved in the branding strategy and creative campaign for the Heineken’s global marketing concept “Meet You There”.
As life sometimes has the knack for taking us far from where we started, I found myself in Denmark in 2006 for personal reasons. Following several Danish language classes and a couple of internships in large-chain hotels in Copenhagen, I was hired at the advertising agency AdPeople as an account manager in charge of Dell’s advertising campaigns for small and medium sized businesses.
For the next two years, I studied multimedia design at the International Business Academy in Kolding. In addition to my full-time studies, I began producing video and developing websites using the Adobe Creative Suite of applications, including Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro. I also gained experience with the popular content management system WordPress, including theme customization. After graduating in 2014 as a multimedia designer, I now felt that I had the right combination of technical skills and real-world experience to pursue a brand consultancy career.
In my free time, I also enjoy making video, writing, cooking Chilean, Vietnamese, Thai and Mediterranean food. I really like to engage in interesting conversations and I am always up to watch a good science fiction movie.
