Hi Cory! I’ve just recently come up with the same issue and I’ve followed your tip of exporting to openEXR, and unfortunately the grain still appears in AE.

Hi there! I had the very same problem. But after seeing your post & not finding much else out there I decided to try changing the conversion format in Cineform, from .mp4 to .avi , and voila! No problem! – Although the file size will be pretty large. 🙂
