    I finally figured out a solution to this. I come from a design background and I’m used to being able to scale objects from the corner. (ie Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Unfortunately, it’s not free, but it’s also not too expensive.

    I bought a plugin from Mt. Mograph called Motion 2. It has a feature that allows you to snap the anchor point to different corners of your object from its panel menu. What’s good about this is that if you want to pull out the bottom right corner, for example, you select the object and then select the top left anchor point from the Motion 2 panel and then you can scale the object in a way that’s more familiar to a designer.

    You can also turn on Hidden Line in the Display tab to show the segments
