Did you ever find a solution to the getting the files to work in FCP??
I fear I am in the same situation

I got the same error message when trying to make an image as well. I simply renamed it to save in the upmost part of teh root file, and the error went away (F: insead of F:/DVD/) Hope this helps!!

But does that remove it from your Hard drive, or just out of your bin ??
