I never worked with compressor before (shame on me..).
I’ve now set it (in compressor) at MPEG-2 90 minutes. I’ve dragged the MPEG4 file into it and it
is going to take 4 hours. Is that because it has to compress MPEG4?

Is it better (and quicker) to drag the full MPEG2 file (14,5) into it?
settings: 1280×720
lineair PCM MPEG-2 video
quicktime movie

Thanks for your response..
Someone explained to me just know the codec procces for prores so I will try that.
I quess after I’ve imported those files I will see wether I also have to do something else with
the audiofiles..I’ll export a small bit to see what the result is and if something pops up…

Hi Vince,

Thanks very much for your response, but the thing is
that I tried that. I made a new project with SD settings and
I imported a timeline but then the timeline is surrounded by black around it. I mean when I play the time line it appears in a black
square and ‘scale to frame size’ doesnt help.

Do you have an other suggestion or do you know what might
cause the black square?
