  • I have the same problem with an iMac 2013 and the GTX680 MX card.

    GeForce GTX 285
    Quadro FX 4800
    Quadro 4000

There are only 3 video card certificaded by Adobe to used with Ray-Trace in After effects. You can try to edit the raytracer_supported_cards.txt archive into the After package installation.

Adobe says that the new update 11.0.2 support new graphics cards… I hope that little problem could be solved. Anyone knows something about it??

I get the same error too with MC 6.0.0 and AJA Kona3G. I think so it’s probably the graphic card Nvidia Quadro 4000 error. I always get it when working with alpha mattes.

Yes, we have tried with PDWs 1.60 firmware and we have the same problem.

Could it be the MacBook audio hardware? I don’t know if it makes sense.

Yes, only when we import from a camera. We test several models and all of then do the same. When used U1 or R1 works fine with the same MacBook Pro.

Rec mode/frame rate is DV 25 PAL; and i think we can’t rec at NTSC.

This is the camera details that we use frecuently.
