Thanks. thats very helpful. Do you know if there are any filters that would get the same kind of effect as a displacement in after effects? Where you can use an animated shape or video as a source?

I just tried ripple and it didnt work, and circles did something completely different i tried bulge and bump distortion but their’s no way to chance the shape of the distortion to make it an oval
I think that displace should work, i just dont know how to use it

is there a way to make the ripple look like it is at an angle? for instance, if it was on the ground.
