The only real way at the moment is to export out of AE and then import to FCPX….It sucks I know…Hopefully an update will fix this soon.

I don’t think one keystroke (P) to turn of the magnetism is complicated…In fact…It’s one of the most simple commands to execute.

I don’t understand why people are still hating…If it doesn’t work for you (I agree it is lacking in many features) just switch back to FCP 7…Or to CS5.5….Spending time making jokes doesn’t isn’t making anything in FCPX better.

An organisational tutorial…What you can and can’t do with Events…Where you can (and should?) put them on your computer…And maybe an example of a workflow (Import settings, Metadata etc)

You can sort of revert it back to the old FCP timeline by using the position tool….It turns off the ‘magnetism’.
