    Fabulous, thank you! While I’m sure I would have found that filter eventually, you saved me a lot of time stumbling through the help documentation.

    Yes, CS2 is what I have.

  • I’m having the same problem. My premiere project file is 31MBs? Any ideas?

  • I’m having similar problems. YouTube gives specifications for highest quality, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to use Media Encoder to create a file of the format YouTube wants. Can anybody tell me how to do it?

    Here’s YouTube’s format specification:

    What’s the best format to upload for high quality?

    We recommend the following settings:

    * MPEG4 (Divx, Xvid) format
    * 320×240 resolution
    * MP3 audio
    * 30 frames per second

    Resizing your video to these specifications before uploading will help your videos look better on YouTube.

    If this is normal behavior, what do I need to do to make it do what I want, which is for both the Program Monitor and the Reference monitor to play at the same time, in sync?

    I’ve setup a two-monitor desktop in Windows XP, with the second monitor output being s-video, then converted to BNC. I just drag the reference monitor over to the second desktop and it comes up on the Sony Trinitron color correction monitor.

    I’m using Premiere Pro 2.0

    I opened the capured clips in the Source window one-at-a-time. If I wanted just one segment of the clip, I’d set in-points and out-points and then just rename the clip file and put it in my folders. If I wanted more than one segment out of the captured clip, I would set in-points and out-points, then, drag the image in the Source window to the folder in the Project Pane where I wanted to place the subclip. When I let go, a little dialogue box would pop-up allowing me to name the subclip. I’d repeat that for all the segments I wanted out of the captured clip. When I’d finish getting all the segments I wanted out of a captured clip, I’d move the clip to a bin that I named “Sources for Subclips.”

    I hope it isn’t dumb of me to post this question on a professional forum like this one.

    I’m working on an instructional video for a school. Buying the MainConcept H.264 codec is outside our budget. Is there a cheaper codec or solution for decent screenshot video capture anyone would recommend? Anybody tried Camastasia Studio?

    I’m working on a PC and editing in Premiere.
