your solution will be bit depth – change it from 16 to 24/32
or just import file as mp3 that usualy get the bit rate stuff out of the way,good luck

i have found an easier way:
mark all layers right click -> Time -> Enable tome remapping and that will let you lengthen time appearance of the diferernt layers.
