I’m getting some advice to “conform the clip” in Cin Tools and re-sync audio in the edit and other advice to do a reverse telecine on the clips in Cin tools..do you have a preference?

Ok. Thanks. Wondering if it’s possible to get a look at that article? Don’t know how happy Edit Well would be about sharing the info but I’d be happy to subscribe to the magazine and pay for the article itself if necessary…We’d probably still need a consult. I can talk to our producer about rates but since it’s a low-budge indie doc, chances are there’s limited funds. Hence, my scrolling the internet for answers!

Hey Noah

Word is the project was not shot in 24P A. Is there some way we can dig/edit so that if we want to go to film, we can save time/cost when it’s time to film-out? Actually, I think our crew would be interested in bringing in someone well-versed in FCP and DVX100A for a consult prior to digitizing. I dont know if you do such consults or can refer someone who does?

If they shot in 24P, I’m gonna dig @ 29.97, DV-NTSC with Advanced Pulldown Removal Checked and cut in 24P 23.98 Easy set-up? For 24P Advanced, I’m gonna dig @ 29.97, DV-NTSC without Advanced Pulldown Removal Checked, and cut in 24P 23.98 Easy set-up?
