No problem with the AJA IO SD (LD model). And no problem for ingest with IOHD (in SD SDI mode)

The problem is known by AJA.
The iohd is made to work in HD, and the downconversion to SD make 1sec of delay for the video (not for audio).
Aja will normally make a driver update for this ….

On PC there is the DATAVIDEO CG-100 soft wich allow crawl, roll and static, the interface is like Inscriber.

I’m searching the same application or SDK hints to add animation on mac or create an interface …

Just be careful for the timecode, because FCP only understand timecode in the remote. For external TC use VTR XCHANGE …
